Avon Superbowl Commercial Are You Kidding Me
Ok now I’ve seen everything. I was patiently waiting to watch the Superbowl last night when right before or after the coin toss they went to commercial. This is nothing new and actually watching Superbowl commercials are often as much fun as the game itself, especially when your favorite football team isn’t playing. I couldn’t believe my eyes when the first commercial I watched was for Avon. What the heck is Avon doing advertising during the Superbowl. It wasn’t a sexy hot girl showing off one of Avon’s newest products , it was an advertisement to get people to sell AVON. If you didn’t know it Avon is basically a cosmetic and beauty care company that uses independent sales reps to sell their goods to the public. Had they been pushing some new mens product, a superbowl collectible or some football related items I could have understood but wtf. In the future I hope selling clearance avon cosmetics stays the heck away from my football games.

Well good morning football watchers, Men and Women! If I may share and few points of interest. Jennifer Hudson - National Anthem singer- is associated with AVON. The connection for many was made. Professional, classy, resistant to situations that would take down other people or companies (personal tragedy/economy). AVON has been around for 123 years and is the #1 Direct selling company. Like Jennifer, in times of challenge, rise to meet it. AVON has established funds for men and women to help with their breast cancer battles over 500 Millions dollars worth! AVON also has established an awareness program with education of individuals and countries in stopping domestic violence. Men selling women product? Can it be true? Did you know a construction foreman and his wife sell over 800,000 dollars of AVON. I bet his retirement fund is solid with selling products endorsed by Derek Jeter and TV/ Movie Actor Patrick Dempsey. A home based business is the future of many right now and their needs can be met. So when your girl friend or wife comes to you with something they want to buy, whether need or want…watch out, if she starts with AVON, tables might turn. I encourage everyone to look deeper than lipstick and beauty.

Actually this is a HUGE step for the direct sales industry!
Most of the women millionaires within the US are in the direct selling industry, FANTASTIC and GO AVON!

Oh yeah because ONLY MEN watch the Super Bowl. Women can’t possibly wrap their pretty little heads around the complexity of the game. Plus they’re all busy in the kitchen making pigs in a blanket and wings, just waiting until their soap operas come back on. IT’S 2009…get with the program. Secondly, in case you hadn’t noticed…people are getting fired by the thousands. Avon has always been a way for women (and men) to make a few extra bucks. Buying time on the Super Bowl was a very smart marketing move.

I love pigs in a blanket!!! Sometimes I Wish my wife would stay in the kitchen making them. But seriously my wife loves football and heck she even beat our world’s worst fantasy football player poor ole nick this year. Didn’t mean it to be a slam on women just think they could have spent their advertising dollars a bit better. Perhaps your right it might pay off big time for them. Now get back to the kitchen and make me some wings!!!
